There are many home based businesses out there, some you can make a lot of money from and then there are the kinds that make money off of you. You have to be very careful of the home based businesses because some them are not legitimate and they are more trouble than they are worth. Here are some businesses NOT to get involved in. If you see these ads just keep walking, don’t even read them.

One of the most popular scam is the Mystery Shoppers. You find these help wanted on line or in the local newspaper in your home town. The premise is that you sign up to go into stores and buy something and then take a survey type questionnaire about the service you received or how the store looked. They send you the stores and the questionnaires and when you complete them you get paid. So now you are going all the leg work and taking time and doing all of this and you are thinking is this too good to be true and the answer is yes.

When it is time to get paid, you cash the check in either in your bank or at a check cashing place. You take the money out because you can cover it in your bank and then surprise the check bounces and now you are out the money you took out because you thought the check would clear. But it bounced and when you go to contact the company they are no where to be found or they tell you they will give you a new check. This is one business to stay away from.
